For this assignment on stress management I got assigned chapter nineteen. This chapter talks about meditation. After doing this I have a new outlook on the people that do meditation. I have actually decided that I am going to incorporate meditation into my life as a way to help relieve stress. In my research I learned that 30 minutes a day is all that is needed. I also realized that the reason you feel inner piece and a sense of time distortion is because your brain waves have switched over from beta waves to alpha waves. There are also a few different types of meditaton. This variety allows a person to find the type that really suits them. I have enjoyed learning about meditation and plan to use it in my future.
